Project type

Branding & Identity

Date

January 2024

Richland Depot, a newly established restaurant, seeks a distinctive brand identity that reflects its commitment to serving traditional and popular American cuisines in a low-key and affordable setting. Situated at an old train stop with a rich history, the client envisions a logo that resonates with the casual atmosphere and affordable menu pricing, appealing to a broad audience.

Design Elements:
-Color Palette: The primary color for the branding is burgundy, reflecting a warm and inviting ambiance. This choice aligns with the client's preference for a color that conveys richness and sophistication.
-Motifs: Incorporate "wild horse" motifs into the design, infusing a touch of rustic charm that pays homage to the restaurant's American theme and adds visual interest.
-Circular Logo: The client expresses a preference for circular logos, which can evoke a sense of inclusivity and unity. The circular design should be versatile and easily recognizable across various branding elements.

Theme and Values:
The brand should encapsulate the essence of an old train stop, weaving in historical elements to evoke a nostalgic charm. It must resonate with the values of being affordable, low-key, and welcoming to all patrons, embodying the "everyman" spirit.
